Want Your Hair To Grow Faster? Here’s How Hair Growth Oil Helps

Hair issues are a world unto themselves. Plaguing a large number of people, hair issues are unanimous across all ages and have no gender boundaries. Many have hair fall issues whilst others are afflicted with bald patches.

However, many have constant complaints about slow hair growth. The snail’s pace at which the hair grows in length and volume makes it very difficult to style them. Most have to think twice about getting a haircut. Those unfortunate enough to be stuck with a bad cut have to wait for so long before the hair gets back to a decent length.

Worrying about the hair, rather lack thereof, will not help. Hence, it is necessary to be proactive in remedying this situation. One such great way is to use hair oils. However, if your problem has been persisting for long and is not budging despite your attempts, then perhaps you should contact a doctor. However, in times of coronavirus and its subsequent threat, perhaps rather than visiting them in-person, consult online with them.

Why Hair Oils

Hair oils are not a modern world discovery but are an ancient remedy targeted at promoting hair growth. Moreover, oils also make hair stronger and improve their texture as well. It lubricates the hair and locks the moisture in to keep the locks smooth and strong. Moreover, the oils also help untangle the stubborn locks and prevent the painful combing experience.

Not only this, hair oil and the massaging motion that accompanies it, promotes the blood supply to the scalp. This in turn stimulates hair growth as it also helps the nutrients reach the scalp. The well-nourished hair follicles are thus able to promote hair growth. Also, certain oils are rich in antioxidants, which aid in preventing hair thinning.

Moreover, oils are way cheaper than cosmetological procedures. Also, they are a great alternative to medicine and similar ‘magic pills’ that commit to a radical change in hair growth with the side effects unbeknownst. Oils, on the contrary, do not have any such harmful side effects so they are mostly safe to use.

Moreover, oils offer holistic treatment of the hair. They do not target merely hair growth but cater to the health of the scalp as well as the hair.

However, different oils offer different benefits. And therefore, not all oils are conducive to helping with hair growth.

Rosemary Oil

One of the best ways to stimulate hair growth is by using rosemary oil. It helps to dilate the blood vessels, so more blood is present in the scalp, which thus stimulates the hair follicles. Since it is an essential oil, mix it with a carrier oil as on its own, it is too potent.

Castor Oil

A popular oil remedy to restore hair growth is castor oil. It is great for the health of the scalp as it remedies the fungal infections and inflammation of the scalp that prevents hair from growing long and strong.

The fact that it improves the texture of the hair and makes them shinier is a cherry, not the top.  The best way to use castor oil is by using a carrier oil, as it is too thick on its own. Mix it with any lighter oil like olive or coconut oil.

Olive Oil

Not only does massaging olive oil help in stimulating blood flow to the scalp, but it has great moisturizing properties as well. It thus helps prevent dandruff which damages hair and causes hair fall-among other things. It also helps make hair shinier.

Olive oil can be directly applied to the hair. You can also heat it mildly to have a more soothing massage.

Jojoba oil

So many of the hair clear products contain jojoba oil; considering its properties, it’s a no wonder!

A great moisturizer, it helps prevent hair loss that stems from damaged and dull hair. It thus prevents breakage of the hair, ensuring thicker mane. Moreover, it also helps to take care of dandruff as well.

It also has anti-inflammatory properties. However, whilst it has not (yet )been proven to promote hair growth, however, it remedies the hair loss and the conditions that prevent hair growth.

Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint essential oil is great for promoting a healthy scalp. It also addresses the problem of dry and dull hair, itchy scalp, etc. Its vasodilating and anti-inflammatory properties are great for improving blood flow and thus promoting hair growth. These also prevent the breakage that ensues when the hair follicles are deprived of the necessary nutrients.

However, please note that it is an essential oil and thus is very strong. Mix it with some carrier oil, preferably like olive or jojoba oil to pack a punch against hair fall.

Coconut Oil

Found easily and cheaply, coconut oil is your hair’s best friend. It helps hair grow thick and long. It provides nourishment to the hair follicles, which flourish as a result.

Other benefits include improved hair health, cleaner scalp, less frizz, etc. It also targets dandruff alongside hair damage.

Treating hair loss also involves lifestyle changes. Make sure that your diet is well balanced and rich in nutrients like zinc, vitamin B5, etc. that are required for hair growth.

Moreover, your hair loss might just be a symptom of a serious disease like lupus or cancer. Therefore, if you have other symptoms of these diseases alongside hair fall, it is best to consult a doctor. You might also be required to undergo imaging tests to ascertain the disease. For that, please resort to only trusted radiology labs that offer CT scan in Karachi, as the outcome of the test is very much dependent on the caliber of the lab.
