Samsung Galaxy S10’s Could Debut Super-Fast UFS 3.0 Storage

Samsung Galaxy S10 is the upcoming flagship smartphone form Samsung and it expected to bring lot of new goodies which include a improvements in camera and display tech and also the much awaited in-display finger print scanner. And now today a new report has suggested that the Galaxy S10 would also bring updates in terms of memory technology and that it would bring the latest UFS 3.0 (Univeral Flash Storage).  The UFS 3.0 (Univeral Flash Storage) standard was announced early this year which promises double the memory bandwidth of UFS 2.1, which is widely used standard for flash storage in the mobile devices.

This new info was revealed by Samsung’s head of mobile memory product planning Jay Oh at this year’s Qualcomm 4G/5G Summit held in Hong Kong, even though he didn’t mention the name Galaxy S10, he hinted that the company will launch its next wave of UFS 3.0-enabled devices in the first half of 2019,hence Galaxy S10 seems to be the most likely likely candidate. Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to launched in several models, one of them is said to be 5G-ready, and could most likely feature UFS 3.0 storage . As per the most recent leaks the cheapest Galaxy S10 model is expected to come with 64GB of internal storage, and since UFS 3.0 will be offered in capacities above 128GB, this model is not likely to get the new UFS 3.0 storage.
