Airtel Digital TV is now providing more than 100 long-term channel packs to the subscribers, beating other operators like Tata Sky, D2h, Dish and Sun Direct in the process. After the implementation of new tariff mandate by Trai, DTH and Cable TV operators removed the long-term packs to avoid losses, but Trai has instructed the operators to offer them again to the subscribers. As part of the same, some DTH operators are providing the old long-term plans and they are Airtel Digital TV and Sun Direct. Other DTH operators are providing extra benefit on recharging for 12 months or move. In the case of Airtel Digital TV, subscribers can choose the same plan for six months straight and there will be some discount provided as well when compared to the monthly packs.
Long-Term Semi-Annual and Annual Airtel Digital TV Plans
The list of Airtel Digital TV long-term plans starts with the UDP 6 Month pack which is available for the Airtel Digital TV subscribers for Rs 799. Other packs in the Airtel Digital TV portfolio include, the Orissa Superstar Regional 6M pack for Rs 1,049, WB Superstar Regional 6M pack for Rs 1,149, UDP 12M pack for Rs 1,349, Telugu Superstar Hindi 6M pack for Rs 1,397, Kerala Superstar Ultimate 6M pack for Rs 1,398, Hindi Value SD pack for Rs 1,681 and more. The other 6-monthly packs in the Airtel Digital TV portfolio include Mega packs, Value packs, Value Sports pack and more.
There are also annual packs as well in the Airtel Digital TV portfolio like the Hindi Value SD pack for 12M for Rs 3,081, DEL MP CG RAJ Value Sports lite 12M pack for Rs 3,652, Orissa Value Sports SD 12M pack for Rs 3,663, Karnataka Value Sports SD 12M pack for Rs 4,158 and many others. It is worth noting that Airtel Digital TV subscribers will have ample of choices for long term plans as the DTH provider has more than 100 plans which go up to Rs 7,811 in price. Users can log into their account to check these long-term plans from the company and there’s an offer running as well.
Cashback Offer on Annual Plans Up to Rs 200
For the subscribers of Airtel Digital TV who recharge with a long-term plan, the company has rolled out a cashback offer. Under this offer, the subscribers will be able to get flat 10% cashback up to Rs 200 on recharge of Airtel Digital Annual rental plans using Airtel Payments Bank or Airtel Money. This cashback offer will be live for a limited period till July 17, 2019, and will be valid only on select annual rental plans. The subscribers will have to recharge with an exact price point to get the cashback through Airtel Payments Bank Savings Account/Airtel Money Wallet on My Airtel app, Airtel website.
