Back in October, the private telecom operators introduced the minimum recharge plans which replaced the long-existing talk time plans in these telcos’ portfolios. The minimum recharge plans for Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea all start at a minimum of Rs 35 which gets the users a validity extension along with some marginal calling and data benefits. However, now Vodafone Idea has introduced a new minimum recharge plan of Rs 24 which will extend the validity for Vodafone India and Idea Cellular subscribers by 28 days but will not ship any data or calling benefit. Apart from these two plans, Vodafone Idea also offers Rs 65, Rs 95, Rs 145 and Rs 245 minimum recharge plans. Bharti Airtel is also providing a Rs 23 minimum recharge prepaid plan, and now, Vodafone Idea has joined the list.
Vodafone Idea New Rs 24 Minimum Recharge Plan Details
For someone who does not use their Vodafone Idea SIM much and just wants to keep the services running for little calling, usage can opt for this plan without shelling out much. The Rs 24 minimum recharge plan is the cheapest minimum recharge plan currently in Vodafone Idea’s portfolio. This plan will extend the validity of the subscriber’s account by 28 days. Further, Vodafone Idea has announced that this new Rs 24 minimum recharge plan is an open market one meaning that subscribers will be able to recharge using this plan from the company website or mobile app and it will be available for subscribers in all circles of Vodafone Idea.
Speaking of the benefits of this plan the Rs 24 minimum recharge plan ships 100 on-net night calling minutes valid between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. So, subscribers should make note that during this period, they will be able to call only Vodafone to Vodafone and Idea to Idea users. The tariff for these calls will be 2.5paise per second while the data usage will be charged at 4 paise per 10KB. When on roaming, the data will be charged at 10paise per 10KB. The SMS tariff will be applicable as Re 1 per SMS for local while national SMS will be charged at Rs 1.5 per SMS.
Recharge Deadlines and Service Disruption
Like the other minimum recharge plan of Rs 35, this new minimum recharge plan will also be valid for 28 days. Once the validity of this plan is over, then you will be able to recharge using the same plan or any other plans with long term validity or more data or calling benefits. If you fail to recharge after the expiration of validity, then your outgoing and data services will be stopped, whereas if you do not recharge your number even after 15 days, then your incoming service will also be disrupted. When you recharge your number again, then the service will be continued as per the opted plan.
